Amethyst Geodes & Beds
We cannot envisage any healing space without some amethyst! Here we have some examples of some very nice geodes (also known as amethyst caves, or Madonnas) and beds which come from Brazil. Larger geodes are sometimes broken up into slabs or beds, and these are amazing either stood on end to energise a space, or laid down as a bed for other crystals to lie on to be cleansed or charged. Geodes are an ideal shape for keeping small crystals in, or for storing or charging bottles of essences. I charge my Archangel auric essences up in very similar geodes. This is a well-proportioned amethyst cave, with medium to dark amethyst points, and a small amount of calcite druse towards the base. It weighs 5.6kg and measures 7"x 12" high.
£180 SOLDThis is a nicely shaped cave with a nice outer skin of chalcedony and
cacoxenite inclusions at the roots of the crystals. It weighs 5.6 kg and
measures 8"x 9" high.

Here is another fine cave in an unusual shape, with a lovely layer of
chalcedony forming a cluster of miniature "stalactites" in the roof.
It weighs 5.8kg and measures 9"x 9" high.
£225
This is a really pretty geode, with a lovely deep colour and a fine layer
of chalcedony and some cacoxenite inclusions. It weighs 5.8kg and measures
7.5"x 9.5" high.

The picture does not really do this tall and elegant cave justice! She is a
lovely deep purple colour, with large well-coloured crystals and a smooth
edged finish. She weighs 12.3kg and measures 6"x 16" high.
£300
This is another elegant geode, with a finely polished edge and lovely deep
purple large crystals with cacoxenite inclusions. It weighs 6.8kg and measures
8"x 12.5" high.

This is an "A" grade amethyst bed from Brazil. It stands up on its own quite safely, and looks just as good laying down. The crystal points are a good size and even, with a sprinkling of tiny calcite crystals over them. It weighs 5.2kg and measures 9" x 10" high.
£160 SOLDHere is a very pretty amethyst bed from Brazil. It is very feminine in its energies and has a most unusual area of drusy clear, milky and pale amethyst crystals in the lower right hand corner. This gives a lovely soft feel to the energies of the bed. This one may stand or lay flat, although I feel it looks at its best standing up! She weighs 3.3kg and measures 7" x 10" high.
£110If you don't see what you want, ask me! I can get just about any size and quality you might need. The larger bed above has been acquired for friends as the centre piece of their shop and weighs in at over 12kg, and would cost around £600!
Finally, I also have some fine amethyst specimens from Madagascar. They are
nearly all polished, as the natural finish of crystals from this region is
rather chalky. Skeletal (elestial) amethysts are the norm from here, and many
have enhydros (water bubbles included) or layers of trapped air. It is also
common to find them with clear or smoky quartz, often in phantoms. I have just
sold the amazing polished amethyst sceptre (centre in the picture below), and
never know what will turn up next! Each one shown weighs up to .75kg, and are
priced between £10 and £120, depending on size and formation.
I also stock amethyst from around the world, and have some of the rare Guerro
amethysts and Vera Cruz amethysts from Mexico for sale, as well as Brandburg
and Spirit Amethyst from South Africa.
